Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using Shipshape (shipshape.email), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

Description of Service

Shipshape is a free email deliverability improvement tool. It provides a deck of task cards across 18 crew specialties, gamified progress tracking, quizzes, and checklists to help email senders improve their sending practices. Shipshape is built and operated by ReviewMyEmails.

User Accounts

To use Shipshape, you create an account using a magic link sent to your email address. You are responsible for maintaining the accuracy of the information you provide, including your email address, display name, and other profile details. One account per email address.

User Content

The observations and data you enter when completing task cards belong to you. We store this content solely to provide the service, track your progress, and deliver your card digests. You can export your data at any time and delete your account when you choose.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to scrape, crawl, or automatically extract data
• Impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity
• Interfere with or disrupt the service or its infrastructure
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' accounts

Intellectual Property

All Shipshape content, including task cards, quizzes, crew characters, illustrations, and written materials, is owned by ReviewMyEmails. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from this content without written permission.

Third-Party Services

Shipshape links to ReviewMyEmails for paid deliverability services. We use Brevo to send magic link and card digest emails. Your use of these third-party services is governed by their own terms and privacy policies.

Disclaimers

Shipshape is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that completing task cards will produce specific email deliverability outcomes. Email deliverability depends on many factors outside our control, including your sending infrastructure, list quality, and recipient mailbox providers.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, ReviewMyEmails and its team shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenue, arising from your use of Shipshape. Since Shipshape is a free service, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid to use the service, which is zero.

Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top. Your continued use of Shipshape after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms. We encourage you to check this page periodically.
